My Top 5 Tricks to Boost Self Confidence

If you are anything like me, who loses self confidence from time to time, when a certain assignment does not work out the way it should be. Or you keep blaming yourself for a broken relationship. Sometimes our self confidence hits rock-bottom. Ladies in general tend to have lower self-esteem  than gentlemen. This nature of ours keeps us from being the successful, beautiful, desirable women, who we really would like to be. Looking at a mirror, a man usually sees a self confident, strong, handsome creature, we only see the extra pounds, the too curvy butts, and wrinkles. How come that our “mirror” is so different?

The answer is: Self Confidence.

Self confidence is essential to build up ambition. If you do not believe in yourself, that you are able to do what you meant to, do not start it at the first place. I am not saying that you cannot have moments or days, that are hard, and shakes off your balance, but how quickly you get back on track is key for your own happiness.

I share my top 5 tricks with you to boost self-confidence, that work like magic:

  1. Boosting Femininity

This means taking care of my feminin side. Although I often save the time to do activities that boost the lady in me, this is a bit more crucial when my self-esteem is lower. I love dating. Whether you are in a relationship or single, dating is a nice dance between two people, where they are getting to know each other. I honestly love the feeling of being taken care by a men who respects my femininity, is polite, so we genuinely concentrate of the fun part of the date.

Getting a body massage or facial, a dedicated hair dresser time, is also among my habits, feeling good in my own skin is the goal.

2. Helping Others

Whether it is  a friend, or a neighbor, who needs your advice, or help in a way, that you can do it. Doing selfless things can boost your self-esteem. Our cities offer plenty of opportunities to help other people, even one we do not know. I often bring food to the homeless, actually without thinking on any further benefit for me, but it does make me feel good when I think on the benefit of my act on others and the world. 1. I did not throw away food that I may not eat myself 2. I took care of other people in need.

3. Engaging in Sport Activities.

A good sweat does wonders to anybody. Moving your body is hard, if you are not used to it, but it is the easiest task to accomplish. Setting a goal in exercising or a certain distance in running, cycling or simply walking requires a little effort from us, and has a huge impact on our mind. We immediately feel that we have reached our goal, we did it, so we can do it again. Besides, we just improved our health, so we can be proud of ourselves.

4. List Your Accomplishments

When feeling under I like to  start thinking on all the things that I have already accomplished in my life. My advantage here is that I am not in my 20’s, so I do have a list! Thinking on all these things I start feeling proud of myself, until then I question all my negative thoughts about myself.

5. Relax

Sauna is my obsession. This is the time when I am far from my telephone, or work. Constant stress can also lower your self-esteem, so any form of relaxation is a good start to make you feel better. Just go out for a walk in the nature. enjoy the sunshine take a bath, sing, play a game , watch a movie. Whatever makes you relax, do it, so that it reduces stress hormones immediately.
